looking 4 ward and distract me from this LA fire
Disagree. The VRBs X Greenpill proposal provides immense value by addressing real-world challenges while creating tangible benefits for multiple stakeholders. Let’s break down how it helps others and drives systemic change:
Revenue Generation and Distribution
Merchandise Revenue Sharing: VRB artists earn a share of the revenue from merchandise sales, empowering them to continue their creative contributions and supporting their livelihoods. Greenpill Treasury Growth: The remaining revenue will grow the Greenpill treasury, which funds a network of individuals and organizations dedicated to public good projects. This creates a positive feedback loop, enabling more initiatives that help others in impactful ways. Onboarding Local Organizations into Web3
Partnerships with Sprouts Farmers Market and the Greenway Foundation illustrate the power of collaboration: Sprouts is donating 500 lbs of food for distribution, directly supporting local communities in Denver. Greenway Foundation is facilitating a river cleanup event, combining environmental stewardship with community engagement. These partnerships introduce local organizations to Web3 principles, expanding the ecosystem and bridging gaps between traditional and decentralized approaches to public good. Addressing Transportation: A Key Challenge
Transportation remains an unresolved issue that limits participation and scalability in many initiatives. Through Modal Booking's Eth Table Sprinter, we are not just proposing a solution—we are implementing one: Environmental Impact: Group transportation reduces carbon emissions, aligning with regenerative finance principles. Community Connectivity: Accessible transportation ensures broader participation in events, making them more inclusive and impactful. Community Growth and Network Support
This initiative strengthens the VRB community, attracting more funds, visibility, and participants. A growing community amplifies the impact, fostering a vibrant ecosystem of creators, advocates, and stakeholders. Events like Hack the Bus invite participants to contribute ideas for decentralized transportation networks, fostering innovation and collaboration. Real-World Impact at ETHDenver 2025
The Eth Table Sprinter will demonstrate the practical application of regenerative finance and Web3 technologies: Showcase group transportation as a scalable, sustainable model. Highlight partnerships that create tangible local benefits, such as food distribution and environmental cleanups. The event will also serve as a platform to onboard new participants, including local organizations, into the Web3 space. Social and Environmental Benefits
Artists: Earn revenue and gain visibility through VRB-branded merchandise. Communities: Benefit from food distribution, river cleanups, and innovative transportation solutions. Web3 Ecosystem: Gains a scalable model for public goods funding and real-world application of regenerative finance. Conclusion The VRBs X Greenpill proposal isn’t just about hosting an event—it’s about creating a sustainable, scalable ecosystem that addresses pressing challenges like transportation, environmental stewardship, and social equity. From empowering artists to supporting local communities and advancing the Web3 space, this initiative provides a blueprint for systemic change that helps others in measurable and meaningful ways.
I think the media aspect holds a lot of value to growing the VRBS DAO. Several of us are vrbs maxi's and want to see the VRBS scale early rather than later.
I appreciate your discourse.
You are exactly right! You can book a successful tour (I gauge success in terms of net income) around the county a lot easier than you think. In pretty much every major city in the country (world) there will be a small venue with a capacity under 300 that will be conducive to your sound. Nearly every under 300 cap venue in the world will be satisfied with a 50 person turnout on a week night and even some on the weekend if they haven’t filled that date with a sure thing. If you guarantee 50 will come you can probably book the club.
you want the VRBS to scale.....we literally had been told to focus on onboarding to Flows....so the only reason we havent onboarded more people is because of Rocketman's directive.
Vm vm, thanks for the feedback on the proposal, this is my 1st DAO proposal so still learning how to best propose and share ideas.
I feel I could have added more detail on the impact we will be creating during ETHDenver by partnering with Sprouts and Greenway (local environmental group) to do a river cleanup and we're actively planning other places to volunteer at. Also as an active member of the Greenpill community we want to use this opportunity to not just volunteer locally but also onboard existing regenerative people into the regen space to further grow our communities both in members and treasury. Not sure how much you know about Greenpill, I believe we're doing great work towards progressing the regen space and revenue earned from merch will go into funding both Greenpill initiatives and Vrb artist.
Speaking more on merch, the idea id it's a great way to share and spread the culture and ethos of our communities. The tic tacs are a greenpill staple as we handout pills as a metaphor for greenpilling and your breath smells good when onboarding people. In regards to chapstick, Denver is notoriously dry and cold during that time of year so chapstick is a great thing to have to keep lips moisturized and not blistering. Open to exploring environmental friendly way to purchase the merch. What I also could have done better is proposing a clear revenue split for the merch. I currently would propose 40/40/20 split between Greenpill, Vrbs & Artist. I think this works well as 80% goes into our communities to fund more impactful work throughout the year and the artist can earn a healthy split for their contributions.
All in all I appreciate your feedback as I feel it highlighted some potential blindspots and will help make a stronger proposal. Would love to chat more if free to go more in depth and learn more about yourself and your initiatives.
